These angels - part of the composition in the den of Caramel Church in Atrani (near Amalfi). They are certainly very old. I it seems unlikely that they could survive more than 250 assemblies / shootouts since mid-XVIII century. Most likely - it is a copy of the late barrochnyh prototypes.
I may be wrong - They can be preserved part of the original ark. Several other figures are made in the same style, which is quite radically different from the folk реализма доминирующего в этом вертепе.
These angels form a part of the Christmas Crib in Chiesa del Carmine, Atrani (near Amalfi). There is no doubt that they are very old. I feel, however, that they could not have survived 250+ moves in and out since mid 18th century and are likely to be copies of some early Baroque prototypes.
I can be wrong, though. They could be the remnant of the original crib. There are several other figurines that belong to the same style, which significantly differs from the folkloric realism of the rest of the crib.
