's obsessions with food
today 's my birthday. the dinner my mom asked me what I want to do this year, before reaching thirty. and that 'an interesting question, but' the thing that interests me 'instead - FOOD! we ate at an Italian restaurant, and I asked fettucine alfredo. fettucine alfredo was always my favorite Italian dish that I first lived in Italy, but 'in three years ago in Rome I did not see even once.
believed that "fettucine alfredo" italamericano were a food, or maybe just American, born in short something on the ground of the western hemisphere. Like the fortune cookie.
fact I was looking at a can of pasta sauce in the supermarket in Massachusetts a few weeks ago. The alfredo sauce was canned, and it was written that it was done "in the style of Rome, the city 'where he was born"
pero' tonight my mom told me that she went to Rome in the fifties with my parents (I did not know that she 's never been to Rome) and fettucine alfredo are in fact Italian, or rather Roman, and fettucine alfredo you had eaten in the restaurant where they were created! I said NO NO NO MOM, I said I think he was THINKING OF CARBONARA. She said NO NO 'real, and says that in the restaurant you eat the alfredo with a fork and a spoon and a giant made of gold.
not believe a word but when we returned home I checked the internet and cabbage, she was right! I lived in Rome three years, but it 's my mother who has eaten the alfredo' with a gold fork.
what I will do 'this year? What will I do 'with the rest of my life? You're going to do that? Have you ever eaten with a fork of gold?

THEN ... I came to the west coast are, my ancestral home! I'm now in Portland and it 's beautiful, just beautiful. In New York it was still winter - when I went to do the course in Central Park but it was snowing! But here you go with bare legs and arms and you sweat in the sun. The all trees are in flower - the cherry trees especially, but lots of trees with pink flowers. SVEN MAKES ME WITH PLEASURE!
I have seen my family for a few days. My brother and 'a man now - takes a mustache! Madonna mia! I feel like Rip Van Winkle, that man in history who went to sleep in the woods and and 'woke up one hundred years after that experience ... ...
Should I start now to do things. I have to find a home and I also need to begin to work for the voter. 'S why I come to Portland. I would like to register young people to vote (and also create what is called a "voting bloc, where many people vote together, and so 'you can' have a little 'more power,' cause those policies have something they can see - a bloc instead of individual how many people you can not 'talk). It 's very important that young people vote, but' voting is very little here - people from 18 to 35 years, only 30% vote normally. And 'because another 10% votaranno if someone breaks the balls AND I ARE ONE PERSON!
We should think of good things to deceive the minds of young people. I would like to make myself a custom of monkey (verde!) and go ahead and register people to the library more 'big city' ... prefere to be registered for a normal person or a girl dressed in monkey? I am the second. I want to do and too many spilleti Adhesive and shirts ... I also do concerts (already 'I have two groups, and a local and I'm only here by the end of week), and click "bowling to vote" and "vote for kickball." I would go talk to the Suicide Girls to see if they will do something for us, they are located here in Portland. I would like to create all the beautiful events that could seduce the imagination of some, but with the idea of convincing people to vote, ideally not George Bush!
What should I do? You have any suggestions? Madonna, and as' strange 2004!
